Associate, Security Risk & Resilience
George Fields is an Associate with The Chertoff Group’s Strategic Advisory Services practice area, where he applies his decade of combined military and corporate security experience to assist clients in risk management and mitigation.
His parallel and complementary career tracks, combined with his bicultural background, have made him effective in operating in a variety of international security and risk-related environments. George is also fluent in Spanish.
Before joining The Chertoff Group, George was the Deputy Director of Security with Starcore International Mines. He directly managed corporate and physical security operations, risk management, threat intelligence, and travel security in a high-risk environment. Preceding his tenure with Starcore, he worked as a security specialist and consultant within the energy sector, advising on physical security strategies, executive protection, and operational security.
George began his military career as an Infantry officer and has served in several leadership and operational positions. He has recently transitioned to the military intelligence branch and presently serves as a Battalion Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army National Guard.
