The Chertoff Group offers growth capital through a private equity fund, MC2 Security Fund, managed by our affiliate, MC2 Investment Management, LLC. MC2 Security Fund makes investments directly or through special purpose vehicles, such as MC2 Titanium, LLC. Our investments are focused on rapidly growing businesses in the areas of cybersecurity, homeland security, defense technology, and government services.
Specifically, we look for companies that can benefit from our sector expertise and welcome active involvement in driving growth.
We recognize that every investment is unique and seek to design a capital solution to meet the particular needs of each company. This can include financing for acquisitions, organic investments in R&D and business development, or to support a recapitalization.
The Chertoff Group’s principals and senior executives represent a significant part of each investment and typically participate as investors, advisors, and/or board members.
